Next Up: 2006 Pan-American Chess Championship
From Dec. 27-30, 2006 is the annual Pan-American Chess Championship, actually three tournaments in one:
The two team championships are open to college or scholastic teams from North, South or Central America.
The Pan-Am Closed event is actually open to all coaches, faculty, alumni, and any other members of any college or scholastic delegation who are not already playing in either of the other two events.
All of the tournaments take place in Washington, D.C. Additional information is available here.
- Pan-American Intercollegiate Team Championship - the "World Series of College Chess"
- Pan-American Scholastic Team Championship
- Pan-American Closed tournament
